I take my mother to Dr. Stewart at the Plaza Medical Center. We never have to wait over ten minutes and it's usually more like five minutes. Dr. Stewart is very thorough and caring. Previously, we went to Siena Clinic at St. Catherine's Hospital. I don't remember ever waiting less than thirty minutes there, but more typical wait times were close to an hour or more. I would highly recommend Plaza Medical Center.
They are very accommodating anytime I need blood work.
My family doctor was Dr. Bruno after him I continued going to Plaza Med I have used them since the day I was born. I set up an appointment almost a year ago had to wait a week or so then the Dr. im not sure witch I think Booker canceled my appointment. At that point I no longer felt the need to go. I called this week to see if I could get in to see Strandmark or Booker and was told no one is taking new patients after being told everyone was booked up the next 2 weeks. The majority of the time I see the Nurse Practitioner. I informed the lady I spoke with that I have seen both doctors in the past she said it's been 3 years. She basically said I was screwed after this my mother contacted them as Booker is her doctor and was told the same that I was just SOL even though I have always used Plaza Med.
I had an appointment for a basic physical that took over two hours most of that was spent waiting. They tried to charge me for two office visits because the nurse failed to complete the vision portion the first time.
I am a patient of Dr. Booker's and find him very competent, though impossible to see if not scheduled far in advance so I end up seeing a nurse practitioner. Melanie Algrim could miss a gunshot wound.
